Nusa Dua – Bali Democracy Forum (IV) was officially opened by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. The forum was attended by representatives from 80 countries in the Asia Pacific. The opening of the forum was conducted in Nusantara Room, Bali International Convention Center, Nusa Dua, Bali, Thursday (08/12/2011), at around 10:15 pm. The opening ceremony was covered by local and international media.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono delivered a little speech before the opening event. According to him, Indonesia was proud to host the intergovernmental forum to discuss the problems of democracy.
